Elizabeth Narins

I’m a freelance writer and content/social strategist with 15 years of experience attracting online audiences to indispensable service content and compelling stories. I report on parenting, health, fitness, food, wellness trends, skincare, and anything else one might Google. (I’m also the director of content and communications at Hotel Lilien in Tannersville, NY because nope, I don’t sleep!)

How I Got Here
After I led social media and branded content at Women’s Health, I joined Cosmopolitan.com as the digital legacy brand’s first health and fitness editor and launched their digital wellness vertical. In addition to earning my personal training certification to supervise fitness shoots, I covered viral health and celebrity news, developed and reported on a vast network of fitness influencers, and frequently stepped outside of my beat to write in-depth profiles and features. A top traffic driver at Hearst Digital Media, I grew the CosmoBody Facebook page by ~340%, produced, directed, shot, and edited countless fitness videos, and in 2018 alone, drew in more than 11.1M unique visitors.

I went on to lead digital and social content at WW (formerly Weight Watchers), where I introduced a brand-as-publisher content strategy that increased the brand’s Instagram following (1.6M followers) by 45% and earned a 2021 Webby nomination.

My work has been featured on Women’s Health, Men’s Health, Delish, and more. You can find my freelance bylines on Scary Mommy, Health.com, Parade.com, Real Simple, InStyle, The Bump, Everyday Health, Cosmopolitan.com, Parents.com, Verywell Family, and more.
